Panel Members:
Beatrix Milburn - Writer, filmmaker and many years experience working in script development for broadcasters and distributors, re-formatting scripts and TV series for the international market and making corporate films and pilots. Wrote and Co-produced documentary films “Boy Hero 001” and “Brothers of the Forest”.
Tod Grimwade - Award winning producer and director, working for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Discovery and History Channel for nearly 20 years. Tod has picked up numerous international awards as a Producer and Programme Maker. In the mid nineties he headed up the New Media Unit at Westcountry TV, before becoming Head of Features at ITV Westcountry. He later moved to the independent sector with TwoFour Productions, where he was Senior Programme Executive. He has won the coveted Promax International Gold Award as a producer and has won a Silver Award at the Huston Worldfest TV awards for his historical documentaries.
Tom Eldridge – Director and co-owner of Ikandi Media, where he has directed music videos for Embrace and produced several independent documentaries. Tom won the Jury Award for outstanding film and cinematography for the short documentary From Fear to Faith: Ordinary People Extra Ordinary Lives at the Aspen Shorts Fest 2005. Beyond Iraq was an official selection at the Sundance Film Festival 2006 and his feature Alive Day, which was supported through the Cornwall Film Target Talent scheme, was screened at BRITDOC07 in the Screen International British Feature competition and the Cornwall Film Festival.
