How to... Produce a Storyboard/Animatic

What is a storyboard?

A storyboard is a visual script designed to make it easier to for the director and cameraoperator to "see" the shots before executing. It saves time and money for the producer, they are used for movies, commercials and animation and are particularly useful where the film incorporates special effects.

There is a variety of software available to help you, and many storyboard artists run their own websites with examples of their work.
