Creative Skills

Creative Skills is the professional development organisation for all creative industries practitioners in Cornwall.

For 2 years (2003 and 2004) it ran the Media Skills Fund on behalf of SW Screen, and currently runs a Creative Skills Fund (until end 2006). This Fund allows individuals to apply to 2 funding streams, below £500 and up to £1,000 – the latter requires that the individual attend a Development Needs Assessment (DNA) session with Creative Skills.

These Funds have been used in the past to enable beneficiaries to attend Arista courses in Europe, pay a Script Editor to provide one-to-one support, run a peer-support programme and attend weekend seminars and Masterclasses in London.
